Saint John’s has been a continuous presence in the Fort Hamilton and Bay Ridge neighborhoods of Brooklyn since 1834, witnessing to Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, and service.

Known and beloved as the “Church of The Generals,” many significant figures in American History have passed through our doors - most notably Robert E. Lee, who was a Vestryman, and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson, who was baptized in the font we still use to this day.

But Saint John’s is not defined only by its history or buildings. Above all, Saint John’s is a community of faith, dedicated to seeing and serving the face of God in all people.

We invite you to join us.

Welcome to Saint John’s!
